Dock rental is expensive on the lake. Call around to a couple of the marinas to get a feel for the high end of the market. You will also want to check with the local city ordinances, some out there don’t allow you to rent dock space to non-tenants without special license.

You may also consider that renting the slips to non-tenants could be a major issue if the “partyers” come and go from the lake during odd hours. They may also be “messy”. Minnetonka is a just a big party lake, so beware.

Marinas are charging around 175 to 200 a ft for a slip but like Kooty said I’d be very careful about who is renting. I know of some houses in that size range that are renting from $2500 to $3000 a month on the lake.

Been having a pretty good season so far so I started looking around for some new recipes. Found one that looked pretty interesting. Made a few small changes and gave it a try. I think I found my new favorite.

Cut breast into long strips. Marinate in 1/2 Italian Dressing and 1/2 Maple Syrup. (At least overnight) Thread strips onto skewers. (If using wood, make sure you soak in water to prevent burning). Wrap in bacon. Grill till bacon is done.

Crack an ice cold one and enjoy!

hard to beat wild turkey breast on the grill!
have done the italian dressing/bacon wrap.
    the maple syrup sounds interesting.

we also cut breast in strips and marinate in olive oil w/poultry seasoning (thyme, sage, salt, pepper and pinch of marjoram). then grill.
its great as the entree or on your favorite pasta.
