I get email notifications when I reply to a post and check the box that says
Notify me of follow-up replies via email

Now people that have dead emails ads attached to their account won’t.
I have had a few end up in my spam folder too.

    That what you’re referring to?

Maybe because you’re one of the few of us with a “Spam Folder”. Spam I think is wonderful, but that’s just you and me. wink

Can you expand on “dead emails ads attached” ??

I remember there was a time when I would receive an email when someone replied to a thread that I have marked as a favorite. Can’t figure out how to get that working again.

    Thanks B

Check your profile and make sure the email address is current. If it is, there shouldn’t be any reason the email is not being sent out if you’ve check the box in your post.

If it’s a good email, then start checking your spam folder.

Should I be receiving an email when someone replies to a thread I have selected as a “favorite”?

I have in the past but don’t any longer.

    Thanks!

    There’s one more possibility Dan.

Your ISP may be blocking them. It happened with Comcast at one time. They get so many notification from a site that their spam filter pulls them.
I recall James trying to explain that it’s their customer that requesting these notifications. They would reset it, then a couple months later it would be blocked again.

Bottom line, they are going out from Ido.

I’ll check with the Wizard Dave…but…

One other place to check Dan.

If you’ve unsubscribed, that will stop them too. This is at the bottom of these notifications.

“If you’d like to unsubscribe and stop receiving these emails click here.
