Hard to beat a wacky rig… but
If they are in/around weeds then an All Terrain Grassmaster jig in 1/2 or 3/4 oz with a Megadaddy trailer has the high profile for the bigguns…
If you think the wacky rig is great, move up to the Neko Rig, That has been my technique of the year to learn and man does it catch fish. It’s just a wacky rig but has a nail weight in one end and you hook it about 1/3 of the way down the worm instead of in the middle. Has a fall that triggers bass and stands up with the worm bending over when it’s on the bottom. I’ve been very impressed.
