Family Friendly Tip to LOTW Sioux Narrows, Nestor Falls or Kenora Recommendation

Would like to bring my wife and two boys who are in high school up to LOTW this summer. I do a guys trip with a sole focus on fishing and it is usually at an outpost. That isn’t likely going to work with my wife and kids. They are going to need a few more amenities like restaurant, bar, flush toilet, beach, kayaks, etc

Looking to narrow down a resort on LOTW that is a bit more family friendly. Was thinking about Wiley’s Point, Totem Lodge, Big Narrows or Tomahawk Resort. Any others I should look at or ones I should stay away from?

Rod & Reel at Sioux Narrows was a decent place. Myself and 6 others were there as guests for a veteran/first responders week outing. We were a mixed group of 12 and they did have some stuff for kids.

A couple places out of Morson Ontario come to mind> You can either stay on the main land or stay at a resort. duck bay lodge and grassy narrow are very nice places with good fishing.

WIley’s point is very nice but be prepared with gas as its a LONG boat ride. Over 20 miles one way.

I’ve been to Tomahawk a number of times. Don’t think you can go wrong there.

The only downside is if you want better fishing you may put some miles on getting out of the clearer water, but fish can still be found nearby. If the goal is more family focused I’d say it’s worth it. Great beach and cabins. Awesome marina.

We’ve stayed at Clarke and Crombie Camp in Nestor Falls a bunch of times winter and summer and the accommodations are very nice and have anything you’d want from basic motel rooms to ones with full kitchens and multiple bedrooms. The hosts are top notch people and definitely know how to have fun. As far as things for kids to do that might be kind of lacking.
