Does anyone have experience with the Falken Wildpeak HT02 tires? I need to replace the original tires on my Ram 1500. I was going to buy Michelin Defenders which I really like on my wife’s Highlander but the Falkens are almost $400.less for the set and I doubt I’ll put 20,000 miles more on the truck before I replace it. The tire size is 285/45R22.

Hopefully they are good I just ordered Falken Wildpeak A/T4W for my truck yesterday cause the Dueler A/T3 Revos I wanted were discontinued.

Maybe you could see if someone makes a tire that has a big white sheep on them so it matches the obnoxious logos and decals on the truck? Just a thought.

Dude do you just troll the posts to see if someone mentioned a Ram so you can slam on it? Seriously it’s kinda getting old, we get it you really don’t like them. coffee

No experience with that Falken but from what I have seen and heard I wouldn’t be afraid to try it. I just looked at that size and my only recommendations would be a lot more expensive. They are proud of those Michelins.

The Michelin Defender and the Falken Wildpeak A/T4W are really not in the same class of tire. Look at the side walls and you will see a pretty dramatic difference.

Defender is more of an urban SUV/Truck tire than anything else. It is a touring tire with long tread life and decent snow traction at least when newer.

Falken Wildpeak A/T4W is an off-road tire all terrain tire.

The Falken AT/Trail is a little more in between those two tires above. Same with Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S. Both the Falken and Cooper are well thought of.

The original dude was comparing Defenders to Falken wildpeakHT02’s. A/T4W is what I questioned.

I just got these and like them. They are on a Ram I have had no issues with though, so… chased rotflol

To the OP I think the H/T’s should be fine for 20k, especially if you don’t get off road much.

Did you have to get LT’s to support the weight of all the logos and decals?

The lift provided by fully extending the Ram towing mirrors while getting groceries …actually counteracts the decal and logo weight according to Walleyesforme

I do see that the original post was indeed the Falken Wildpeak H/T02 which is closer to the Defender.

If you are keeping the truck for just another 20K … go for the lower cost tire. The other Falken tires also seemed to be reviewed well with most saying they would buy them again.

I am looking at Falkens on my next SUV tire purchase and I plan to keep the vehicle for a long time.

No, I went with scratchers on the back bumper to let em know I’m coming. It’s like the 4th of July when I tow something. rotflol rotflol

I like your signature at the end of your posts. “Team Crush” is that what you and all your RAM buddies call yourselves because you could put a sack of flour in the things and absolutely crush them?

That was your best effort? Your mom should probably cut down on your internet time to allow for more creativity. rotflol

Luring girls in with stickers? You guys aren’t right. Do those RAMs come with a tricky candy bucket holder too? There’s a magician edition one. But I’ve never heard of the creeper edition. Must be custom.

There better be one of those vinyl color matched sun visors applied to the top of the windshield…or Werm’s Ram isn’t actually a “truck”

Maybe you mentioned it in another post somewhere but what kind of truck do you drive bud?

It does need tires though. Lots of our trucks at work have the wildpeaks on them and they seem to hold up pretty good for spending 100% of their time on crushed rock, rock and sand. I’m definitely going to look into them.

Ah yes, the Subura. Or, what we in MPLS refer to as the South MPLS quarter ton.

Typical GM owner. So insecure with his purchase that he needs to put others down.

I trade trucks every two years and have driven GM, Ford, and even a Ram. Grew up in a GM family but would put them as the lowest quality truck on the market. Great run in the 90’s but crapped the bed like Arctic Cat.(I still feel embarrassed every time I hop on my SkiDoo that is far superior to Cat now.) In a Ford Limited now but am looking to follow EP and get a Tungsten; I loved my ‘19 Ram Limited.
