Fall walleye destination trip

    Looking for ideas for walleye trip in fall. LOW little to far buy South Dakota is in play and Wisconsin. Really enjoy night trolling after dark. Use to go to Mille Lac but with night band don’t do that anymore thoughts?

    FYI, the rules have changed on mille lacs. You can fish until midnight from September 1 to November 30.
    We had a blast last fall, it sure was fun getting back into the night trolling bite again.

    Late October on Lake Oahe in SD would be a good bet. You will need to go further north towards the Mobridge area for this.

    If I was booking strictly a fall walleye trip it would be to participate in the Fall Brawl on Lake Erie.

    The #1 YT advocate for fishing in Wisconsin has said that Minnesota is better for walleye fishing. I would cross out ‘sconi.

    I feel like a hater now—–Lots of great fishing in Wisconsin, probably a better state for crappies, bass & legal muskies(trophy fish???? hmmmm)
