fall walleye

    so im heading out to shore fish a new river never fished before in this area heard it has walleye and its that time for the salmon to run in my target though is walleye i was wondering how would i be able to approach it should i try the crank baits first or go straight to live bait in a jigging retrieve temp is high 50s and cloudy water temp is in the 50s as well

    I would look for some rocks or some type of structure to target maybe throw some hair jigs jigs and plastics at it stick baits might be a another option dont over look low light fishing or night fishing spots that are slow during the day might just come alive at night

    This guy has LoTS of videos from upstate NY. Does a decent job on explaining his tactics.

    I’ve watched most all his stuff, living vicariously through them when work is crazy. Kind of says out loud what we all think in our heads, its good stuff.
