    Hi guys,

Once turnover occurs, where do you generally fish smallmouth bass? Shallow structure or deep structure, or both? My lake has weed flats, shallow rock 5-10 feet, deeper rock humps 20-25 feet, sand humps 12-20 feet and lots of steep breaks. I have usually fished crappies and walleyes in the fall but am starting to get into smallie fishing.

    Thanks

Doc, the same strategies you used in the spring time when the water was still colder will work in the fall. Once the temp drops below 50 degrees though, it will become significantly more difficult as that is the temp when their activity level drops way off.
