Fall Handline Walleyes

    I don’t remember the last time I was fishing for walleyes in the Ranger…
    I love the fall walleye bite. But the Mississippi River has been so chocked full of grass I really haven’t been to enthused about the whole thing…
    But today I needed to get some stabil run thru my Merc’s for winter..
    So best way to do this is to pull some Rapala J-7’s and some HJ-8’s and the walleye and sauger were hungry !!

    So mama and I will be eating fresh fish tonight !!

    Nice job Dave. So how were the weeds? Figure they have to come to an end sooner or later. I was on the water late Oct/Early Nov and they were terrible up by Genoa. Water was still kicking pretty good also. Temps were at 51, with that warmer weather then as well.

    I don’t remember those details…
