Fall bite

Seems to be picking up in the SOuth Metro
Today’s catch from 7:30 – 10:00 ( just some of them)
All on Choppo Bone topwater, 4″ Heddon and 2 on Neko with green 8″ Googan curly tail with silver belly
The topwaters were all in 4-6 FOW – only one around any kind of dock structure, the rest all throwing to shore and cranking back.
Water temp 68.3 degrees.
NOW, granted, my life experience may be minimal to others but NOTHING is more fun than topwater.

Just got back from Rainy in Ontario on Tuesday. Topwater smallmouths were CRAZY!
63-65.5 water temp on the North Arm.

I love Choppos. Especially in the color you mentioned. The fish love it even more

Grubson and I were out 6 this morning to 930ish, and the fish were active. Jig bite was good. Lost a big fish from a whimpy hook set I think. I’m trying to tell my self it wasn’t a bass but I think it was the one I was looking for all season

Yeah, I look mad but concentrating on seeing that I hit play on the phone video so I can clip a picture from it. I get a little cranky about getting ‘em back in quick. My son says “ what are YOU mad about” 😊
