Hello All. I am a huge fan of Falcon Rods. I have several. They make some light or UL rods that are designed for panfish. I am interested, but have not physically seen or handled one. I am looking for a 6 1/2 foot, prefer 7 foot spinning rig. Does anyone have any experience with these mentioned Falcon rods? If not, recommendations for other brands meeting these specs are appreciated. This rod will be used for casting jigs mostly.

I own about 10 to 12 of them. Various lengths to 12’. Slab series. I use them for panfish all the way up to chinooks. For me, they have been very durable rods. Like I mentioned, I go down to lake mi and use them as noodle rods for salmon

Quite interesting to see rod popularity by region. Can’t get Falcon listed in stores in WI or MN. Go to any southern state from AZ to FL and they are everywhere. Yet you about never see a ST Croix south of the WI state line

    Randy,
A few years back Falcon had a booth at the Fishing Expo in Madison. They seemed like very good rods and much less than Croix’s. Only saw their booth there 1 year. Have never seen them in any store or bait shop in the areas I seem to frequent.

Quite a few years ago I bought a Falcon at Walmart of all places. They only had two different Bucco actions.I love the rod and wish I would have bought a couple more since they no longer have them and I have never seen them anywhere else.

May have met me?? When I was still repping, I had a couple consumer shows out of spite. Local dealers wanted guaranteed sales or they wouldn’t stock. A few of my dealers were at the show but wouldn’t commit. So, I just sold direct. Their loss

Randy can you still get them? I have never heard of them but as already mentioned, if you back them I also would be interested in trying one out.

I would have to run it through a dealer. I’ll make a call and see who we can work with

I live on the Illinois side, a village about 35 miles southeast of Davenport. K&K Hardware in Bettendorf, IA is the establishment you are referring to. Great place, great people!
