This is laughable if you think facebook is any different than this website. It’s all social media and all on the Web and all easy to steal images from. If you post a picture on this site it’s just as easy for an antis to steal the picture.

This is true, but by posting on Facebook you’re making it much easier. Since so many people are on Facebook, it’s one stop shopping for the antis.

Beyond Facebook, it becomes a lot of work searching out small forums like this one, one at a time. So yes, it’s the same, but by posting on Facebook you’re just making it easy for them.

In regards to avoiding Facebook because of the drama… Facebook doesn’t have moderators, but IDO does. And threads get locked from time to time. Just sayin’.

Will respectfully disagree here. It may actually be easier or just as easy to ‘disappear’ among the crowd on Facebook.
And with Google and other search engines, a lot of work in searching out small forums just doesn’t exist.

I’m not going to try and convince people to try facebook, but the comments here are rather funny (more than just the post I’m quoting btw). If you don’t want to do facebook, don’t do it, but don’t bash those of us who enjoy it.

I now use facebook to communicate with friends and family more than email and just as often as texting. It keeps me in contact with friends that it would be almost impossible to keep up with without it.

Just out of curiosity, FamousGrouse, can you share the examples you refer to in the original post or link to a credible story?

I also think BigWerm’s strategy of posting “responsible” photos and sharing the game with his “anti” friends is a much, much, much more effective strategy than simply avoiding Facebook or not posting shots of you with game. There are lots of good reasons to avoid FB, that’s for sure, but it can also be used effectively. And if an anti wants to get a photo to doctor up to make the hunter look bad, that’ll take approximately .42 seconds with a simple Google search. Whether it’s on FB isn’t all that relevant. Just my .02.

A little off from the original post but I learned the hard way that Facebook isn’t my friend, I made a complaint on my personal page that is set to private about Four Seasons out of frustration after making three waisted trips there cause I called ahead looking for a product was told it was there and wasn’t so I vented on my Facebook…… Yup me venting got me banned from the store even though I didn’t say any names, apologized, and removed it still got the boot from the store . It seems like a person can’t do anything on social media without being labeled or punished.

I scalp photos of massive bucks and post them as mine on my timeline. Want to talk about a red hot chick magnet. Especially those southern belles in their daisy dukes. I say keep those trophies coming, they do wonders for my online love life.

If Facebook ruins lives, kinda like guns kill people, then I can blame misspelled words on a pencil.

John S I would think if a store banned you because of warranted criticism, that is the best evidence of a store I would want to avoid ? Talk about who’s banning who, Facebook didn’t cause this, the store did😜
