A CHANGE OF PACE

We left my place at 6:00 a.m. to fish uncharted depths today on Lake Arbutus in Jackson county. Marshall, Steve and I made a few runs trying to dial in a trolling bite, and after a bit found a dozen or so willing biters, including the four pictured fish.
We fished from 7-noon, and called it a day after snagging two rods in 15ft of water.

It was a welcome relief to fish in NO CURRENT and NO WEEDS. A good Sat. for all of us.

Gotta go watch a new movie with my 5 year old grandson, Riley.

    Good luck to all.

I thought the change of pace would be NOT dragging Pat with.

    Great report & nice fish!

I see by the picture you are putting those walleye to good use where they are meant to be….in the garden.

    Just kidding. Nice fish!

Nice fish! We will be camping and fishing there next weekend. Hopefully the slab pies are still around…

Never touched a Crappie today. Last year I caught more big Crappies trolling than eyes. I’ve heard that the Crappies are much harder to find this year. Good luck.

Last year we trolled where the river comes in and could not keep the crappies off our hooks. Ended up just anchoring and fishing for them.
