I’m going to concede to river conditions and forget the walleyes for now. Anybody have any hot tips on finding ‘gills, maybe Lake Onalaska, Goose Island?
With the water level very high for this time of year it’s going to be a challenge. One thing to note if you are going out on Lake Onalaska some of the launches are very weedy and boats/trailers are coming out just loaded with stuff and we heard that they are ticketing for weeds on boats and trailers leaving the launches – and it’s not cheap so be careful – – as we should be anyway. Just a word of caution.
