hi the water on sunday for dads day i the green card from the fw and i was not about to let it pass me by i launched out of red wing around 12:30 and was going to chack out a couple spots in the river to see what was going on and was able to get a couple smaller fish around 15 inches pulling live bait so i decided to head down to the south end of the lake and see whats shaking down there first plan for down there was to pull cranks and well i never got to give my second idea a try cranks where the key for me jointed five and sevens and glass number sevens i started fishing the 12 to 13 foot range with some luck on getting some nice 13 to 15 inch sauger and eyes then it dawned on me i should be taking some pics so i can post a update went to grab me cam out of my tackle bow and yup left it on the dash of the truck so i thought i would give my cell phones cam a try on the next fish i moved to a lil deeper water hoping for some bigger fish and it didnt take very long and my planer board rod got after a a couple min the fish was behind the boat and in the net a solid 26 after a couple pics she went back thinking ok that was fun having marked that spot on the gps thought i would give her another pass this time the other rod slams back get that one to the net a nice 25.5 incher a few min after that got a nice 18 then my phone died was able to get one more big one around 26 and a couple around that 18 19 inch mark all and all a great fathers day on the water and still made it home in time for dinner with the wife and kids

Nice to hear you found them. We couldn’t even buy a fish last weekend. Saturday we got on the river and worked it south or should I say were blown south. Picked up a were small saugers. Sunday worked about 7 miles of the lake and picked up two 20 inchers and one perch in the same spot. The rest of the day I just burnt gas. Woke up Monday morning and left for home. I guess that’s why it’s called fishing
