When out from 9:00 – 12:30 tonight hoping to find a few walleyes. I ended up catching 6 walleyes and 3 saugers, and 4 of the walleyes were 15.5″ – 19.5″ and 2 shortys. The three saugers I caught all had eggs in them witch suprised me. I figured they would all be spawned out by now. Pitching blades seemed to be the trick tonight. Great night to be on the water minus the 15-20 mph wind that kept on blowing up the river. flame Well it still beat my best day at work by far. grin

Saugers were coming from the same spot as the walleyes. I was pitching to 14 – 15 fow.

Thanks for warming them up. It might of had something to do with fishing them after dark. Some times you will never know when they are going to feed.

Great job! Night fishing in all honesty scares the crap outta me with the junk still coming down the river. I was out both yesterday and today and very-very slow for me. Firecracker w/chartreuse tail boat the few fish. I did try a lot of other colors to no avail. Looking at the returns of the tourney, it’s been a tough day time bite..
