Kicker Motor Gas Line Help!

I am trying to run my 4-stroke kicker off of my main fuel tank on my boat. I have 2 balls and then I have a T into the main line between the big motor bulb and the tank. When I am on plane with the big motor I am starving out the big motor out of gas. I believe a check valve is suppose to go in the line to prevent fuel from being sucked from the kicker. Where can I get this valve?? Do I put it on the kicker bulb or do I put it right on the main line?? Thanks for the help in advance as I thought this would be fairly straight forward but finding parts doesn’t appear to be.

there are a few ways to do this, but here is a 3-way valve that you would have the main line from the tank go in to, then the lines with primer bulbs running to each engine. Some guys get away with the simple “T” that you have, but that method relies on the check valves in each primer bulb to seal and prevent fuel from draining out of the not-used motor.

I have been using the 3-way valve for a few years now, it is a nice set up…
