    Finally got out yesterday. Water is still pretty high and all the gates are still open at dam. Stayed in spillway. Was really surprised, water temps about 52-54. I think we missed our good plastic bite. Caught about a dozen small sauger’s. Most were real small, kept 4 for a meal but they were only in 13-14 inch range. Caught 1 eye and it was a dandy. Little over 29 inches. BIGGEST EYE I HAVE EVER CAUGHT! No eggs so I’m sure most are done spawing. You still got same e mail address. I’ll send you a pic. Going to try and go again thursday but think I’ll try and get on crappies. Probaly start out pulling some raps first but not real confident in that yet. Caught her on a blue bucktail with minnow.
