Hey guys just wondering what’s your favorite crank right after ice up and right before ice over?

I agree with Cal. Stick baits like the Husky Jerk or similar baits are my favorites for cold water walleye.

Take that box and a few Purple Perch Huskys and we’ll put you on some nice Little Bay de Noc Walleyes in November Cal!

For me on the river early springor late fall is Jr Thundersticks. For me fished side by side the Jr`s out fish my Rapalas 4-1. on 3-ways. The Jr`s have that very soft slow rolling action where the Raps have a harder side to side wobble.

Thundersticks are a Storm brand product.Thundersticks & Husky jerks will suspend in the water column when paused, where the original Rapalas begin to float immediately when paused as they are made of Balsa.
