Well guys, to say that this has been a banner year for fishing would be a sad understatement. All November and so far in December have been FANTASTIC in Iowa. The only reason I am taking time to make this post today would have to do with the current blizzard that has blown through. Up until last night we were smoking them. Light jigs and ringworms have been the producer so far this year. The size has been fantastic, along with quantity. Lots of 16-18″ eaters and lots of 20+ inch fish to report and a hand full of 25+ inchers to boot. The biggest one as of three nights ago was a 26″ 7.5 pound tank that my buddy Nick caught. But, my buddy Bobby has had the hot hand lately and landed a PB for our group- 10.5 pounds at 28 inches. The fish is currently in a deep freezer right now and will be to the taxidermy before Christmas. As for the other fish, everyone photographed was happily returned to the water. The photos will speak for themselves. Anyway, I just thought I would share with everyone the bounty that has been Iowa. Is this heaven? No, it’s Iowa
