Planning on hitting the rocks on Friday. Have a seat available for anyone willing to put in a full walleye day. Will be throwing the works at them.
Hopefully most of the grass will be south by then. PM if interested.

Where are you putting in? I would love to join up with you! I fish pool 14, and i have plenty of vacation saved up for duck season and that is not going so hot… Might as well use it to catch walleyes.

Wish I had seen your post yesterday – I would enjoy learning how to catch walleyes in this pool. I was busy putting plastic on the patio for the winter so I didn’t check this sight in time to respond. Let me know if you have another opening sometime.

Good luck Jeff. I might get out this weekend here if I can get the boat to the water. Busy busy, but the walleye are WANTING to get caught, aren’t they?

pool 11 update……..JJ Krooked made it down for the day. The shifting winds made it a little tough to read the rocks but still were manageable. The grass isn’t terrible either(mostly surface grass) Hopefully we have seen the last.
The high water on the other hand made for some tough sledding on the channel wingdams and even a few closers up in the chutes.
We did manage to put a couple nice saugers in the box, one pulling 3 way raps, another vertical jigging.
Once we decided to commit to the vertical bite we caught big numbers but definite size issues. 18 FOW. stood out all day . Bit the bullet and started using live bait, stingers were a definite must and still a ton of missed fished.
Be nice to see the water drop some, not that big fish can’t be found now but it sure makes life a little easier out there.

    btw…….want sheephead…..work blade baits
