How do you guys keep them alive? I’m buying around 2 doz and i was just think about putting them in my frabill aqua-life. Change the water every 2 days.

Anything special you do? Or anything to stay away from?

    Thanks Domenick

yes – I have washed out a couple of soup-type cans and put them in the bottom of a 5 gal pail and kept them alive for some time!

I got a tip on this a few years ago. Leave the aerator going in the bucket but remove the stone from the end of the line so there is just a single bubbler. They do need something to hide and are very sensitive to water quality. You’re best off using actual river water if you can get it.

Are you kidding me? Throw them dam things out on the sidewalk for 7 days in the sun and they will still ZAP you… Don’t get overly sensitive about those mad SOB’s… They will seek their revenge on you for placing them in the mouth of an angry momma walleye….

Toughest darn minner I ever seen. Tougher then a boy named sue….
