fished inide the Cheyenne river on 5/29,4-man limit of nice walleyes.Water temp was 61 degrees,used bottom bouncers ,straight snells with minnows, in 17′ to 22′ of water. Walleyes, friends,warm weather.don’t get any better !!
Sounds like a good time! Where did you launch out of? I bet the original ramp at Minniconjou is open again finally but I haven’t made it up that way yet. If fish are in the Cheyenne then it won’t be too long till they are in the south end of the lake.

A friend got a 34″ fish out there last week. I’m waiting for a pic, will post when I get it. I’m told he was “north of Pierre”. That narrows it down…
we put in at the Minniconjou ramp. using the original ramp, one dock, 2 ramps.first time using this ramp for years.most of the time we use little bend ramp, to fish the main body of water.will be back soon.
