    book says
1.0 oz snap wgt 50/50 (50ft lure to wgt 50ft to rod 100ft total) will be 12-16 ft down at 1.5 mph
1 1/2 oz same depth at 2.0 mph

15 feet should not be a problem if you are going slowly enough. Just let the line out until the bouncer starts ticking the bottom. I use a braided line which cuts through the water very easily compared to mono, besides you can feel everything. Figuring that you want to run your line at about a 45 degree angle you should have about 21.2 feet of line out not including the line you have above the water…

15×15=225 and 15×15=225 225+225=450 and the square root of 450 is about 21.2 but that would be a straight line. Pulling the line through the water will cause lift on the line and is going to create a bow in the line so depending on the size of the line will determine how much bow is in the line causing you to have more line out. So 21.2 is not the correct answer.

You will need to find someplace that has 15 FOW and drag a bouncer with a line counter reel at the desired speed to target the suspended fish.
