Just curious of the pro’s and cons of each. I am looking at the digger anchor due to availability but wondering if it would suffice for my needs?? I have an 18 foot fiberglass. Any thoughts or suggestions??

I have both. Digger anchor has a tendency to break loose by disengaging in rough conditions. Water spike can be very difficult to retrieve at times especially in rocks or timber. I have had to leave a few behind! My 2 cents, JC

I have a waterspike never had a problem getting it back. rock wood just get above it and slack rope to slid ring back pull and free it comes. angle of pull for holding is key.

I would opt for the Spike, especially with a heavy boat…
