That is a hog definitely a fish of a life time.Just one ? though. How does wisconsin deem them state records its 6/100 lb smaller and a half of inch shorter than old record just wondering.

I do have a dumb question though…how are records determined on boundary waters? Wouldn’t this beauty also qualify as the MN state record? Can it only be certified in one state? Just curious how that works.

I think he had a WI fishing license. If he had a MN fishing license it would have been a MN record.
