Hey, I looking for some advice or help. I have been lurking this site for a while so thought I’d post a question. I’m really new to walleye fishing and have recently bought a “used” boat. Plan to learn how to fish walleyes and I started off using lindy rigs and have just had no luck. Been out around 4 times since opener and not one walleye yet. I have been fishing Waconia and Minnetonka just about every night from about 6-10pm trolling lindy rigs out of the package, single hammered down blade (not sure what the term is for it) with a hook and trailor hook. Trolled around 5-10 feet with fatheads and leeches at about 1.8 mph. No luck yet. If someone can help me out on what I need to do? Am I doing things right? Never really had any instructions on how to use lindy rigs except for the salesman at Fleetfarm. Any help, advice, lessons, appreciated.
