Just wanted to introduce myself. I’ve played softball most of my summers up until now and have finally decided to hang up my cleats. Ive really missed out on the Walleye fishing me and my father used to do when I was growing up. Now that I am getting back into fishing, my wife has approved the purchase of a boat! 
Not till fall though…so I will be stuck renting for now, Which actually is how I found my way hear. After reading just a few posts it was obvious to me that the people on here not only have a wealth of fishing knowledge, but are also good people! 
I hope to learn alot this summer from you guys and hit the water full force next year in my own boat. Which, by the way, I will be looking for opinions on also. Just wanted to say thanks in advance for any help! After seeing the pics of the eyes I can’t wait to get fishing! So my first question is…does anyone have advice for fishing Osakis on the opener? Had hoped to get to Winnie but it didnt work out…damn ice! Just happy to be here!
