Lots of boats there Saturday. The bite for us was best with a 1/4oz blue bearl H2O head and a firecracker chartreuse tail ringworm. I tried a purple chart. tail ringworm and had good results as well.

Fished from 9-5 on Saturday. The bite was best for me before 1:00. We caught about 4 eyes to every sauger. Also picked up about a dozen Perch with the biggest being 13 inches and the smallest being 8 inches. We used hair jigs and minnows and ring worms. We caught fish on everything we threw, but if I had to guess about the best colors they would be a black 1/4 oz. BFT jig head with a oyster ringworm and purple and glitter hair jig.

    Good Luck!

It’s funny how different people experienced different bites. Our best action was from 2pm to 4pm. We didn’t get up there until 1:30.

We caught about 4 Saugers to every Walleye. We never caught a legal Walleye either.

If see a guy bumping around in a War Eagle with a silver Mariner, say Hi. It’ll be either me or my Dad, on good days, it’ll be both of us.

If the wind dies down by tomorrow, I will let you know how the bite is on Wednesday
I hope to at least have half as good of a day as last Friday

They’re loving the stickbaits there right now. I’ll be out there tommorow afternoon.

After looking at the wind forecast for tomorrow, I will definitely be out there. They are predicting winds from 4-9 mph.
I want to get the 3-way rig out and give it a shot. I should also get some of the bigger stickbaits out and give them a shot. I usually only run the smaller floating Rapala’s.

    Mike,

I’ve been trolling with leadcore and running stickbaits in the 3-1/2 to 4″ range. I did however catch some decent fish on Reef Runner Little Rippers as well. Look for me to be trolling tommorow in the 16′ semi V with the Merc 4 stroke.

When do you plan on being out there? I plan on getting out sometime late morning until late afternoon. I will be in a 16′ green flat with a 25 hp 4 stroke Merc. I will more than likely look like a bright red beacon in my Guide Wear

I was out today… the bite was good, kinda breezy out but a good bite made it tolerable. I picked up fish on chartruese pepper r-worms, and purple/ chart. tail. Caught a good mix of walleyes and saugs… biggest walleye was 21″. Got into a weird late saug bite just before dark, fish were running 17-18″. Good luck
