Anybody ever use these for Walleye? I have had good luck with them for smallies and managed a few walley “accidentally” so I figured I would give it a whirl while targeting walleye. Just thought I would see what you guys think and/or what colors you have found work well! Thanks

Slugos and Fin-S work good some times for saugers and occassionally for walleyes. They’re not a “go to” bait by any means but both Dustin and I have had some darn fine days on them. Particularly for giant saugers in March before the water gets dirty.

What color have you had the best luck with? Usually the 2 2/4″ or the 4″? I have had luck with both for smallies usually in the more “natural” colors.

The natural shad / pearl blue colors have been best in the 4″ size. Anything that looks “shaddy” is going to work in clear water.

I think you’re fibbing James! Everyone knows Dustin will not willingly fish for saugers.

He will when 20+ inch saugers are smashing big plastics.

Fishing for “eater” saugers drives him nutz. But when you’re on a run of biggies… he’ll stoop.

They are a “go to” bait for many of our cold front winter fisherman…..just one more tool in the box!

I had a buddy using what I believe was the Berkely Jerk shad this fall coupled with a very light 1/16 oz bullet weight. He’d cast it out let it slowly sink, then he’d twitch it back to shore. He just pounded the walleyes and managed a 28 incher

I catch a lot of eyes on 4″ FinS pitching wingdams for smallies. More so in high water when most fish are tighter to the bank
