After reading the “combination rod” post, I got to thinking about the “action” and “power” of a couple of the rods I use for walleye fishing except for my crankbait rod.
I know the “power” of the rods as it is stamped on each, but how the heck do you tell if it is an mod. fast, slow, med., fast, extra fast??
I use the following:
series one 6′ med., 1/8-3/4oz-vert. jigging, casting jigs.
Fenwick im6 6’4 med.,1/4-5/8oz-same use, but reel has fireline.
bionix IM7 6′ mh.,1/4-5/8oz- this is the rod I do most lindy rigging(how I learned to walleye fish and this was what I was told I needed, which I know realize I don’t)
What would be the probable action on each of these rods?
p.s. why would the mh and m have the same lure weights??
confused and wishin’ I was fishin’!!!
