was gonna pm you but couldnt figure out how or if i could attach photos.
but, ya, we did ok today.
with a 20 minute out of the way drive to pick up minnows we decided to go all plastics. turns out didnt need them minners anyway. big plastics – gulp, yum or ringworms – all worked as long as you had orange or chartreuse in your jig.
worked our butts off trying to find big ones, but the best was a 19.5 walleye. lots of 16-18 inch saugers several keeper walleyes and even caught half a dozen saugeyes.
dodged ice bergs and had some pretty good sized rollers on the trip back to the ramp.
only 2 other boats out. might have to try it again monday.
