When a walleye bites on a bobber/tip-up set up, what does the direction that it travels indicate? Is it the direction that the school is traveling? Or are they heading where they feel safer?
I was set up on a break (in 16′)around sunset yesterday and the bites headed into deeper water rather than further up onto the bar. It happened several times and it was consistent. No one else was around and I was quiet.
