I had the chance to try out the new glow eye jigs from BfishN tackle this weekend. All I can say is WOW!!! They work wonderfully… especially in low light conditions.
I used a glow jig while the guy I was fishing with used a regular precision jighead early Saturday morning and While it was still early I out fished him by a considerable margin. keep in mind we were fishing the same ringies and the same spot. The only difference was the glow heads. That morning made me a believer.
Now some of you know that I am a firm believer that jighead color means little when it comes to fishing plastics and I still believe that any color, or plain lead, is as good as any other color but the glow seems top make a big difference.
I cannot wait to try the glow head dragging low light conditions later in the winter.
