    Yes it has it’s days like everyhting else. I have used it in Windy days other times and got nothing while others were pounding them in my boat. Just like always give them what they want, but yes it does work and is part of my arsenal.

    My set up is a little different, I actually use a small glow jigs in different colors with a blade attached to the jig.

    it is also one of my favorite tip up set ups!

    I like to take 2 slipknots and place the blade about 12-18″ above the bait too.

    I think something like this might work with a live bait hook instead of the treble.
