I see they make a leach bedding product like they do for crawlers, does the leach stuff work?

Others may have had better luck than I have, but I used it to transport leeches to the BW once with poor results. Oxygen packing them in is the best way but when I don’t need quite that many I just use an old peanut butter jar and refresh their water every once in a while. Seemed way easier than messing with the bedding which would get too warm.

In the boat I just put them in the Leech Tamer bag and drop them in the livewell.

Ive bought leeches in bedding and it worked out pretty well for me. Up on Milly you will run into them from the “Bait Vending Machines” located at resorts around the lake. Picture it to be a pop machine that dispenses leeches and crawlers. Packed by the dozen in styrofoam containers.

The leech bedding was more “wet” than you typically get with the crawlers. Not sure what the ratio they use, but the leeches always look healthy and happy!
