Pool 2 bottom content

Over the years my anchor has hauled up all manner of sand, marl, gravel, goop, weeds, gunk, stinky black ooze, etc. On pool 2, I haul up this sticky grey clay-like substance everywhere. I’ve never seen anything this grey color before. The shore lines look like regulation colored normal sand. What is this grey stuff? I read once that the first environmental protection law passed to clean up the river was a bill that banned the dumping of coal cinders. Is this grey stuff ashes? Do you guys on P3 or P4 see this stuff?

Can you tell it’s slow here today

Everyone have a great holiday weekend and catch a bunch of fish!

I’ve seen that stuff too and I was assuming it was clay. I try not to think about pool 2 bottom content.

Coal ash would be a light tan color, ask me how I know I agree it’s clay
