trolling crankbaits

    Today i bought a trolling book it tells you everything you neeed to know if you are useing 10lb. line. How about if you are using fireline? Anyone with any help.

    ON average I always run it as 20% deeper rivers is a total different game though depending ont he current go by feel than.

    Did you buy version 7 or 8? Version 7 shows a conversion chart and 8 has actual fireline dive curves.

    In the new book there is a chart that tells you where the fireline runs.

    If fishing the river i would let line out till you hit the bottom, you wont be able to go off the book anyway in the river. as far as lakes for suspended fish i dont know, the 20 % as mentioned above is probaly pretty close.

    I agree with the 20%. I do have some fiends that run Power Pro 30/8 and they say the dive curve is similar to 10lb mono.
