Water temp question…

    I assume that water temps around the state are warmer than most openor’s right? So does this mean that fish locations and the bite will be more like a mid-late May bite this upcoming weekend?
    I open on Winni and remember the water temps being more like mid 40’s on most openor’s…RR

    Ice out dates from Mille Lacs north are all normal or even a hair late. Water temps should be relatively the same as MOST openers or even colder than they have been in recent years when the ice went out earlier–even up north.

    The bite? Just go fishin’! lol It’s mid-May! Anyone tell the fish?
