Show us your biggest walleye ever

I am going through withdrawl lets see some monster walleyes. I have not caught many big fish but caught this 28 inch fish trolling on Minnetonka last fall and my brother ended the night by beating me with a 29 inch fish.

These would be my 3. Two of them were 31.5″ and the other was 29.75″. They were all caught on the same day. I can’t wait to catch my next 10+ so I can see how it feels to release them that big.

31.5″ from Lake Erie during the FLW Tour event a couple years ago.

Would if I knew how to post pics, Mine was last fall on Mille lacs, a beauty 28 1/2″ sumo.

I will post the two I got last year, I had to blurr out the back ground tho so no1 will steal my spot.

I got this one on the Mississippi around Red Wing last year, 30.5″

This one I cought 2 weeks later in almost the exact same spot, 31.5″

Please Note, BOTH of these fish WERE cought and released

Rainy River this spring. 27″ I wouldn’t call it a monster, but its my personal best.

Here is my Dad’s Biggest. A FAT 27.5″ off the Pond 2 Falls Ago. Man what a night!

Will try to post mine here… 12.3 pounds Mississippi – pool 10… 28 1/4 inches – have caught longer fish but not that heavy. Note – this is the same one on my avatar… you’re not seeing double! Chuckles

I don’t have a picture of my largest. She was 12.38 on a Berkley digital scale several years ago. Here is a picture of a 31.25″ I got Memorial weekend 1997 on Mille Lacs.

12lb 80z is the biggest 10lb 40z is the smallest some in between.

Never weighed this one from pool 4 Nov 2004…29.5″ CPR

31″ caught from the Sturgeon Bay flats.

31″ caught night fishing on the Wisconsin River in Prairie du Sac.

Not the biggest but one of the fattest…

30″ but never weighed because I wanted to get her back in the water ASAP.

Now that is a GREAT PICTURE!!

Not only was that a big fish, but all the components of a great fish picture are there also. Dorsal fin erect, reflection from the fish’s eye, great color, and contrast to the fisherman…..

Thanks! Not too often do they pose for the camera like that. The only bad thing was it was raining that day which made taking the picture difficult (also, by myself). Other than that it was a fantastic night!

You did that by yourself?? HOLY S. That’s great man!! Great fish too, thanks for relasing her. Now please PM me the GPS coordinates. I’d love to catch one like that on spinning gear!!!!!

Yep, set the timer, set the camera on the tackle bag, on the back seat, on a couple Plano boxes, rush to the front of the boat, and… click! Thank God for software that can crop. I just make sure the zoom is way out and take it from there.
