I love pitchin’ light jigs on light line early in the season when they are shallow. Like someone mentioned, watching your line jump in the water when you been hit and still haven’t felt it yet!!!

I love vertical jigging them when they are on a deep break, point or the top of a hump.

I enjoy pulling cranks when I can put the boat in nuetral and fight them in without water skiing them in. It is fun to catch them row trolling (a little exercise is always good, ain’t it) here in northern WI, ’cause the law won’t let us motor troll. Don’t get me wrong, I still love the motor doing the work, at times.

I started vertical jigging spoons to see if I can catch them under pods of baitfish or drifted along breaklines.

    I love catchin’ ’em!!!

For me there has always been something I love about rigging with a nice fat leech on the mud early in the morning on Mille.

Rigging with leeches, crawlers, 4-6 in. shiners, or 4-6 in chubs.

Pitching jigs with hair or plastics…no doubt is my first choice… watching my hi vis line move thru the current and waiting in anticipation for that “Whap” on the rod…
