June Green Bay Walleye

    Thinking of taking a trip to Green Bay this june walleye fishing. Does anyone have any insite on what to expect? Any information or techniques would be greatly appreciated.

    Also can u get into salmon in the sheyboygen area without downriggers in june?

    Green bay in June is a great time. You can catch fish on harnesses or cranks. Usually the lower half of the bay that time of year, 15 to 30 feet of water. Really strain the water column, fish can be anywhere from one foot down to right on the bottom

    Here is a lean 32 inch fish taken by my buddy a little south of Oconto in June a few years back on crawler harness.

    We had a fantastic couple of days out there last May. Crawler harnesses with bottom bouncers behind boards were the ticket for us. Plenty of eaters with some big gals too. PURPLE!!!!!
