I have had excellent results with Seaguar Red Label.

2x for seaguar. The stuff is super durable.

I switched to seagur invisix last year after having bad luck with Vanish. Been happy with it.

I’ve been told lindy/live bait is most effective with mono, more limp which allows the bait to present itself more naturally. Haven’t experimented much at all but thought I’d provide food for thought. Oh open water talk, soothing.
Ill be trying flouro as well this year for most my rigging.

I used Seaguar but had problems with break offs. Went to Berkly 100% Fluoro Professional and 0 problems ever since.

I use the fluoro for leaders on jigging rods and Lindy rods. I also still use mono on lindy and spinner…..mono floats as fluoro sinks.

I use mono if using a floater. Seguar Invisix for every thing else.

X2 on the berkley 100% fluorocarbon. It’s not nearly as limp as seaguar (at least not in the heavier weights) but it’s tough stuff. For what you’re using it for, I would imagine any of the fluoro out there with the exception of Vanish will work just fine.

For the Seaguar guys what type of Seaguar line and what pound test on spinner rigs?

Also how is the longevity of the line for spinner rigs wrapped on a tube that sit an a box for a couple years while waiting to be used? I always fear making up a 100 or so rigs that they will get brittle but get really sick of constantly making them when i need them.

I do like Seagaur Tatsu on my spinning reels and also Invix a close second (very limp)…Although, I have tried Invix as a leader on Berkley Nanofill and I wasn’t too impressed how the abrasion resistance was using football jigs.

Seagar invisx 10lb-12lb spinners holds them straighter. 6lb live bait rigs.

Seagar Red Label 15# on my spinner rigs, 6# Stren Magna Thin for my lindy rigs.

What do you guys recommend for a 6 foot leader behind a bottom bouncer and slow death hook and worm on the other end.

What makes Seguar’s Red label better- preferable to Seagaur’s Blue Label?
Also Mr. Stinkycat what pound test were you getting the break-cutoffs at?
    Thanks
