Is the bite still on? Heading out today at my cabin hear the water temp is in the low to mid 40s already.

Think the trolling bite is still on? Maybe wait til dark to get out there?

    Any tips would be helpful!!

Yes it is.Need to slow down to around 1mph.We like to run bomber longA’s for thier slow rolling effect and smithwick rattling rouges that suspend so you can pump your rod forward and then drop it back and the bait is right in the fishes face. Most times they will hit it when it goes forward again.
Dont be afraid to get up in a couple ft.of water.
    Good luck to ya.

I’ve got water temp of 40 to 42 on the St. Croix River and the bite is on. Trolling Rapala stickbaits is working nicely.
