Walleyes on Superior Doing Well

    Why are the gill netting a lot of them and killing them. It seems to have barrels full of them. I need some explanation please.

    They have already spread out from where they sampled. They just happened to be right on the school the days they had the nets out.

    I will often see walleyes cruise along the wall of the breakwater in Two Harbors while I am out there casting lakers and salmon. They won’t get up that way unless the water gets warm. I doubt if it will happen this year.
