    We caught 14 sauger.

    9 were keepers.

All caught on a variety of plastics tipped with a crappie minnow.

The photo above was just before we left the water.

I know that spot. If you go off Joel’s advice, Lake Wisconsin can produce some quality outings. Joel is the master.

It was a fun day of fishing on Lake Wisconsin with you today Len and I’m especially happy we were able to find some decent, eaten size saugers to take home for supper.

    Love the sunset picture.

Our minnows were actually large fatheads. You may have misheard me when I mentioned that the large fatheads we get now a days resemble crappie minnows.
Its nearly impossible to find those giant, 3″ or bigger fatheads we used to be able to get years ago.

Joel provides sage advice. I to know that little spot and put in a waypt just in case the stick goes with an ice flow. Lake WI has been a good bite this fall and I will be sad when the ice comes and have to start dreamin of spring ice out.

What’s on the bill of your cap Joel? Video camera?

    Yes indeed.

Decided to play with it this weekend.

Got a pretty steep learning curve though.

Thank you all who made such generous comments on my behalf.

    Much appreciated indeed!
