Most of my fall fishing has been below dams jigging or pitching. Plastics were working good for me tell this past week. It has been a toss up between crawlers and fatheads this past week for me. I’m planning on fishing in the afternoons the rest of the week on the miss between aitkin and jacobson. Would you spend your time fishing deeper holes or still looking at current seems and shallower straights. When I’ve hit the river up there in the past in September i usually find most holding at the beginning of the straight and around wood. What are your guys go to tactics this time of year?

Holes and river bends in that small river up there. Local guys used to love vertical jigging minnows this time of year. Pitching plastics would work to. Im sure cranks would work also but might need to adjust to the cooler water.

Seem to remember that river getting very clear this time of year. 4′ clarity on some of the feeder creeks. have never tried it up there but sun set and after dark might be worth while.
