I know its not tournament like to divulge your deep dark prefishing secrets but after today…I will! My tip is -Don’t follow my boat if you plan on winning! Went out to try and find some decent saugers for the tourny next weekend and came away with 4 saugers totaling about 1.5lbs All caught of hairjigs and fatheads. I was the only boat (that I saw) fishing the river anywhere other than the dam. Quite a few trailers so the rest of them must have been down towards the lake. highlight of the day was a huge sheephead and first ever flathead. So, after today, not going into the tourny next weekend with tons of confidence but it will still be fun I’m sure.

    He’s a cutie!

I’ve been hearing reports of some good size saugers being caught, but just reports.

I saw it for a fact today Brian,I was out with the former IDO member Millerman, also saw alot of other boaters catching them too. A little sorting and you could limit out with some decent sized ones. I brought home a good meal of them for my family, biggest being around 17″-18″.

I was only out for 3 hours.
