Yup, another crawler harness question.

In Minnesota waters where only one hook is allowed, is adding a bead directly in front of the first hook of a 2-hook crawler harness sufficient to be considered a lure? I have heard equal answers both ways, but cant find anything from the DNR on it. It really has me confused.

You can run multiple hooks on a crawler harness. No different than 3 trebles on a crankbait.

I’m talking with no blade, just 2 snelled hooks for a crawler harness behind a lindy rig. is that still true or would the warden look at it as if I was using two hooks for fishing?

It was passed this year where you can legally use up to 3 hooks single or treble on one line as long as it doesn’t exceed 9in from first hook to last hook and is used for one bait. Its stated in the 2012 regs.

    Take Care and Tight lines!!!
