Give me a handful of the 3/16 jigs and I’ll be set in most situations when fishing plastics.

Cheap collared jigs will split the head of the grub and/or prevent the plastic from lasting very long…

I agree entirely with James and Tom (even with the 3/16 being my primary jig weight for eyes) However, I make jigs (not for sale) using a Gamakatsu EWG hook and an off set eye which I can run ringworms and moxies almost weedless. The BFish’n jigs are great and I’m not knocking them. It all depends on your situation of where and habitat. I use a lot of plastics on inland lakes and drag ringworms through the thickest of cabbage weeds and just needed a jig that would work better for that environment. The Shaky jigs have some similarities to the ones I make

I checked these out, I looked at the kits but don’t want 64 jigs or whatever and the smaller kit only came in barred tiger colors. how do these compare to traditional colors?

The jigs are available in single size / single color “packs.” You don’t need to buy a kit. Follow the link above back to the website and look for the links above the kits.

Back when I ordered my jigs I know that they were making them in the 3/16 designation, don’t know why I didn’t buy them at that time… I have 1/8, 1/4, 3/8… Can’t wait to get some and try the 1/2 crawler on this specific weight if the cranks are working mayfly time…

Get 3 or 4 different colors of every weight and you will be set for for a long time. Once you have your jig box you and replace the ones you use more often. It amazes me each time having the right weight jig is the difference between a nice fish fry and getting zip.

Agree with all that is being said. I bought a few hundred and when u have precise sizes with fickle fish it makes all the difference.

    X2 on that Kev!

Using the right weight jig is as important as using the right bait on the business end of a jig.

With sizes to the nearest 1/16oz, B’Fish’N Tackle makes it easy to zero in on the exact weight jig I’m looking for in just about any situation I might find myself in.
